Interesource Group (Ireland) Limited specialise in project management and consult in research and development in language and cultural training, human resource management, recruitment and selection, and healthcare risk management. The company also provides services in IT, web development, management training & development, and human resource information systems. Their clients range from small and medium sized enterprises to large multinationals and organisations in the public sector. Interesource Group is currently the promoter and originator of the MORPH and STREAM project and promoting organisation of the INTERCOMM project. MORPH is an investigation of the Management of Risks and Practices in the Healthcare sector and which will identify good practice healthcare organisations. MORPH comprises partners from Ireland, UK, Bulgaria and Poland. STREAM, aims to identify best practice champions of human resource practices in recruitment and retention in the hospitality sector. Countries involved include Ireland, UK, Greece, Cyprus and Slovakia. INTERCOMM is a follow-up study to ELISE and REFLECT on language and cultural training strategies involving organisations from the Ireland, UK, Portugal and Iceland. They are also involved in investigating aspects of foreign language use and training for exporting companies across Europe.
The Division of Legal Medicine (UCD) is an academic unit within the Faculty of Medicine, University College Dublin. It provides undergraduate courses in legal medicine for degree students of medicine, physiotherapy and radiography. It also co-ordinates the undergraduate course in medical ethics on behalf of the faculty. The Division offers a postgraduate Higher Diploma in Health Care Risk Management to healthcare professionals. The Division also provides medico-legal modules to postgraduate students registered for the Master in Public Health degree and Master in Business Administration in Healthcare Management degree. The Division also provides lecture and seminar based teaching services to a range of healthcare professionals and is involved in a variety of research projects within the private and public sectors.
The Department of Medical Physics, University of Dundee provide a range of courses and managed the Scotland National Awareness Partner (NAP) unit for the IMPACT 2 Programme of the European Commission between 1992 and 1996. They were also selected to be one of the Partners in the Scotland/Northern Ireland MIDAS-NET Node of the INFO2000 Programme that followed IMPACT 2 (1997-1999) promoting use of multimedia skills in business. They were a partner in the Scotland/Northern Ireland Node for the Multilingual Information Society Programme (MLIS) (1998/99) which was dedicated to improve the foreign language skills of companies by increasing their awareness of digital tools available for language learning. These programmes were organised and funded by the European Commission. They were also involved in the ELISE project in 1999/2000.
Health Care Association We are an Association amongst the General Practitioners in Bulgaria, with the aims of supplying the healthcare providers with the latest information about on-going health reform, providing consulting and training for improving the quality of work and implementing new methodologies in the sector. The operating team of experts in economics, law, pharmacy and medicine enables the association to deliver, assess and accredit a range of high quality, training, research and study visit programmes. We are currently managing EU funded projects MEDOPRACTICE2002, MORPH activities in Bulgaria, preparatory stages of MEDOPRACTICE2003, European Family Medicine Awareness (EFMA) and European Social Care (ESCARE). The Association is working in close co-operation with the Medical Universities in Sofia, Plovdiv, Varna and Pleven in Bulgaria and a medical college and clinics in Burgas.
Foundation for Promotion of Entrepreneurship (FPE) Lodz, Poland, established in 1990, is a regional training, information and advisory centre targeted at the SME sector, specialising in the preparing for EU accession. The Foundation has actively participated in projects on restructuring the Polish economy, especially enterprise, banking and the healthcare sectors. FPE is the regional contact point for the 5th and 6th Framework Programme of the European Community for Research, Technical Development and Demonstration Activities. FPE has received the Quality Management Certificate according to the EN ISO 9001:2000 standard for providing services in training, consultancy and information. FPE actively takes part in the process of preparing the National Development Plan 2004-2006 and Regional Operational Programme as a member of steering committees and consultancy bodies.
